Charis Papadakis

Charis Papadakis is an experienced Project Manager with more than 20 years of professional experience across the maritime and IT industries. He has a strong background in managing complex technology projects, business transformation initiatives and client engagements, with expertise spanning project management, business analysis, IT operations and digital solutions.

Since joining IBM Greece in 2022, Charis has been leading projects across a range of industries, with a particular focus on asset management, data and AI, and enterprise technology solutions. His current project portfolio includes initiatives involving IBM Maximo Application Suite, asset performance management, unified data platforms and AI-enabled solutions.

Prior to IBM, he held senior management and project management roles in the maritime and technology sectors, where he led major initiatives including booking and reservation systems, automated payments, loyalty programmes, IT infrastructure, satellite connectivity and digital transformation projects.

Charis holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Hellenic Open University. He is also an IBM Experienced Project Manager and holds certifications and credentials in IT service management, enterprise design thinking, Generative AI and project management.
