Zacharias Maridakis

Zacharias Maridakis is Technology Support Manager at Aegean Motorway S.A., where he leads technology operations covering IT Services, Applications Development, Service Desk, Smart Systems Operation and Smart Infrastructure Support.

He has more than three decades (30+) of professional experience in Information Technology, digital transformation, ERP systems, infrastructure, business operations and technology leadership. Prior to Aegean Motorway, he served for sixteen years as Group CIO of BA Glass / YIOULA Group in Glassworks Industry, managing major international IT transformation and centralization programs across Greece and Southeast Europe (Bulgaria, Romania & Ukraine).

Earlier in his career, he was IT Systems Manager at Arla Foods Hellas S.A. and held several positions at Mobil Oil Hellas S.A. and Mobil Europe, including SAP Analyst Consultant, Financial Planning & Credit Analysis Supervisor and IT Auditor. He began his career as an E.D.P. Manager and subsequently as a Software Engineer / Instructor.

His professional achievements include major ERP, SAP, infrastructure and digital transformation implementations. He was recognized in the Digital Transformation Officer 50 Powerlist in both 2023 and 2025 and has contributed to multiple award-winning digital, cybersecurity and customer-experience initiatives.
